Wandering StarsToday, more than ever, we are disconnected from home and those we most care about, separated from the landscapes with which we share the deepest of connections. As global citizens we uproot and replant at a moment’s notice. There’s a contemporary sense of homesickness that is palpable and it is based on the absence of what can only be created by time and familiar history. As a photographer I have begun to capture images that most embody many of the emotions I feel around this subject. I, like many people, am roaming the landscape. I continue to search for a place of comfort, both within myself and in the place I call home.
