Shamo

The series includes pictures of the largest desert in Asia, on the border between China and  Mongolia. Some pictures were taken in Mongolia and some are from China.
While being there, in the sands, the wind blows out of my head any thought about the geopolitical division of the territory almost at once.  It rises the sand high into the air, takes it over the crest, and spreads it on the opposite slope, creating dunes. The image of the desert  it is a giant hourglass, which counts millions of years of the wind's work. The mind free of vain thoughts, is seeking to understand the depth of infinity. Now it is able to hold only one border - between  the short worthless life of man and eternity.

The series is called "Shamo". Which means "a windy place" in the local dialect.
